Each year, Castro Valley High School Visual Arts Students compete in a design contest. Adrian Lopez, Visual Arts Teacher at Castro Valley High had this to say:
“The Visual and Performing Arts Department at Castro Valley High School would like to thank The Rotary Club for hosting their annual poster contest. It is very important for our students to get the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge they gained in the classroom in order to have a meaningful learning experience. It is great to have the students see the different transformations that their artwork goes through, from a poster to postcard to a small ticket for the event, and of course, and a website.
